Which heat source?
On mains gas, a modern condensing boiler is still the cheapest system to install and the simplest to run, and a conversion to a combi removes the tanks from the loft. Off the gas grid, the choice is between a new oil boiler, an air-source heat pump if the house is well insulated and there is room outside for the unit, or a tepeo ZEB where there is not. We do the heat-loss calculation first and tell you which suits the building; we install all four, so the answer is not shaped by what we happen to sell.
